The Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenpac) offers world class entertainment just around the corner.The Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) was conceived in the echoing corridors, empty rehearsal rooms and grand performance hall of the former John Harms Center, which closed to the shock and heartbreak of Bergen County's large community of culture lovers, families and students. In April 2003, a group of concerned citizens, headed by Englewood resident Frank Huttle III, formed bergenPAC and developed a business plan to forge a true public/private partnership, engaging all sectors of the community and bringing together corporations, governments and residents, each adding the committment and support necessary to revitalize this unique arts center.

 

The Englewood Library is dedicated to providing information, education, culture and inspiration. The town encourages the community to pursue lifelong learning and the enjoyment of books, programs and resources in a variety of formats.

 

Department of Parks & Recreation offers a vaiety of parks and activities. Babe Ruth Field (Tryon Avenue), Cambridge Avenue Park (Cambridge Ave. & Knickerbocker), Crystal Lake (Sheffield Avenue), Denning Park (Lafayette Place & Forest Avenue), Depot Square Park (Demarest Avenue), Durie Park, Garrity Field, Glenbrook Park, Hudson Avenue Park, Morris Park, Trumbull Park, Tryon Ave. Pool, Winton White Stadium, and Mackay Park.

Flat Rock Brook Nature Center is a 150-acre preserve and environmental education center situated on the western slope of the Palisades in Englewood, New Jersey... this natural woodland is one of the last remnants of the magnificent Palisades Forest.The preserve is managed by the Flat Rock Brook Nature Association, a non-profit membership supported organization committed to land conservation and environmental education.

 

The Woman's Club of Englewood, founded in 1895, has been serving the Englewood community for over 105 years. Volunteers of the non-profit, non-partisan and non-sectarian organization work to serve and contribute to needs on the local, state and national level.

 

The Bergen Family Center supports, strengthens and enriches family life through innovative programs and quality services.
