A new community of 38 luxury town homes is being built by the Pulte Homes group and is slated to open in early 2016, with move-in options as early as the summer.

Willow Run will feature premium homes that are adorned with a two-car garage, between three and four bedrooms, and fitted with 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms.  This new community is expected to have prices starting in the low $700,000s.  Cresskill, the home of this first-of-its-kind community, is a beautiful borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, with a population just under 9,000 people and growing.  Cresskill is tucked in between Demarest, New Jersey, to the north, Tenafly, New Jersey, to the south, and Alpine, New Jersey, to the east.  All three towns, Demarest (#333), Tenafly (#343) and Alpine (#12) were recently named to the Top 500 list of most affluent communities in the country.

Cresskill, New Jersey, was incorporated as a borough in 1894 and was named for the water’cress’ that grew abundantly in the streams and the ‘Kill’ stream that passes through it.  In the early days, railroad access made Cresskill attractive to the military and became home to Camp Merritt in the late 1800s.  Today the fallen soldiers of World War I are remembered with “The Monument” that was erected and dedicated in 1924 and still proudly displayed in the middle of Camp Merritt Memorial Circle.
