Bergen County Single Family Homes Sales Are Stable

A Good Start for 2012

While NJ home sales showed a record increase of 31% in January , Bergen County home sales as of  the end of February are slightly  up when measured in units and slightly down when measured in dollars. While some towns show different levels of performance towns like Tenafly show very strong demand.   The stellar performance in the state is in line with national indicators that show signs of recovery .

Key factors for the rise in sales include job stability, a general more positive level of confidence , affordable prices that are now back to the levels of 2003-2004 and historically low interest rates.
