All Town parks are under the jurisdiction of the Recreation Commission. Any group wishing to have an organized activity at one of these locations must submit a Field & Recreation Application, which can be obtained online or at Borough Hall. It must be approved by the Recreation Commission which meets monthly, so allow plenty of time.
This social club of senior citizens meets the second Friday of every month except July and August, at the Community Church. All seniors are welcome-Harrington Park residents and those from surrounding towns. The group tries to take a couple of day trips every year.

Friends of the Library
Since 1991, this group has helped focus attention on the Library by offering programs as well as fund raising. Many of the children’s programs offered at the Library are sponsored by the Friends, and it is through their efforts that extra items not afforded through the operating budget are obtained. Meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Library’s Quantmeyer Room (upstairs).
