•   Tenafly residents received recently the final tax bills for 2011. After the town was completely re evaluated in 2011 the tax rate was finally published at $2.256 per $100.
•   The Tax is calculated by multiplying the tax rate by the assessed value. The average assessed valuation in town is $783,900 and the average Tax is $17,716.
•   The School portion of the tax rate is 65.21%  and the municipal portion is 24.8%
